MIHO art museum is located next great
popular city of Kyoto.
It’s in Shiga prefecture in mountain cave.
It was made by one of religious group.
However the museum is not showing only
related religious art.
The building is similar of Louvre museum
France because the building architect is same I.M Pay.
So these glass part is looks like Louvre.
And there is long tunnel also , from there
you can see cherry blossom at April.
The museum is showing Egypt and Greece art
and Ashian art as well.
You can take all of art probably half of
day.
So this place is for relaxing and taking
time slower.
Accessing is not so good from Kansai
airport (KIX)
It takes 2hours more Via Kyoto by train and
bus.
Also this place is nearby Shigaraki city.
This Shigaraki is one of the biggest
pottery city.
So you can buy Japanese pot and dish with
affordable price.
Shigaraki is famous about pottery of the
raccoon.
Long time ago , when Japanese emperor
passed this city then the city population is very small.
City mayor thought that this won’t be
welcome mood due to little people.
So the mayor ordered to make a lot of
pottery raccoon instead of people.
They set this pottery on the pedestrian
road.
