Do you know art island Naoshima ?

Naoshima is located Shikoku region Kagawa prefecture.

It takes 4 hours from Kansai airport by train and ship.

The island is whole museum by Tadao Ando.

You can take a look a lot of big arts in the island.

Art bathhouse.

You can enter but not actual taking shower in there.

Red pumpkin

One of famous landmark in the island.

And also there is hotel museum.

It’s integrated a museum and hotel.

The room fee about $300/person.

You must stay in there.

This unique island is open 24/7 museum as long as you want to see these art.

Country side MIHO museum with pottery city Shigaraki

MIHO art museum is located next great popular city of Kyoto. It’s in Shiga prefecture in mountain cave. It was made by one of religious group. However the museum is not showing only related religious art. The building is similar of Louvre museum France because the building architect is same I.M Pay. So these glass part is looks like Louvre. And there is long tunnel also , from there you can see cherry blossom at April. The museum is showing Egypt and Greece art and Ashian art as well. You can take all of art probably half of day. So this place is for relaxing and taking time slower. Accessing is not so good from Kansai airport (KIX) It takes 2hours more Via Kyoto by train and bus. Also this place is nearby Shigaraki city. This Shigaraki is one of the biggest pottery city. So you can buy Japanese pot and dish with affordable price. Shigaraki is famous about pottery of the raccoon. The artist herself seems to be enjoying a peaceful life with her new family. The mother's mouth is smiling and the blue coloring of her feet is unique and tasteful. We can also faintly feel the sun's light from the upper left corner, and although it is a very hot time of the day, the mother is tired. Even so,but still carries her child on her shoulders, creating an adorable work of art. As a side note, I would like to show you how "Creeping up something," which I introduced the other day, would look like if it were exhibited at home. It is very popular because it can be placed in a small window or a small space like this. The price range also makes it a great gift, so please let us know if you would like to give it away.
